Don't Say It!!!
This morning while browsing on Facebook, I read the status of a very funny friend of mine. Many of you know her, Cindy Popp Smyly. Her status read, "Cameron used a word he heard from his daddy 2x this morning!"
This status reminded me of a time about 20 years ago when my younger brother was just a pup. Maybe 5 or so years old.
I can't remember all the details leading up to this, but I remember him being really mad about something. Then out of his little mouth he said, "I'm gonna say a bad word" then he paused, then he said it . . . . "Knife!" He was so serious when he said it. Like he was saying the worst word in the entire world. We laughed, and laughed and then laughed some more. To this day when I hear people say something about a "bad word" I wonder if they are thinking about saying "knife!"

Never Thought!
Tonight we ventured up to my younger brother's house to visit he and his cute family. One of the members of this "cute" family is a Pit Bull dog named Diesel. My kids (and secretly ME) are scared to death of dogs. I knew this would be an interesting visit.
It started out slow, but quickly the kids became IN LOVE with Diesel. I could not believe my eyes!
Here is a picture of my brother Matty playing catch while mowing his yard.

Wedding Day!
Today my younger brother got married to his darling sweetheart Karla. They are a gorgeous couple. Here are a few pictures from the big day. They are the "official" photography pictures, not mine. Aren't they beautiful?
Are they a beautiful couple, or what?

Happy 24th Matty!

Today is my younger brother's 24th birthday. Wow Wee! I remember the day he was born. I remember it because I was so mad that my Dad made me go to school. He even made me go to "Metcalf Singers" afterschool. Luckily I was able to skip school the following day to hang out at the hospital with my Mom and Matthew. Even though he is a huge punk and tickles me whenever possible, he is awfully cute! We love you, Matty! Here are a few pictures to enjoy!
