He's a Keeper

Today, like most Sunday afternoons, we asked the boys what they talked about in Primary. Ethan said that they talked about Missionaries and they could either write a letter or draw a picture to send to a missionary in our ward. Ethan drew a picture that he said looked EXACTLY like a missionary!

Ashton - of course, had no clue what was taught in Primary today. No real surprise.

Ryan told us they talked about when someone does something bad or mean to you that you need to say, "I forgive you".

So let's fastforward to bedtime. . .

Ryan decided to start throwing his build-a-bear into the spinning ceiling fan. He got in trouble and was sent to his room. A little while later I went in to say prayers with him and after I told him that he cannot throw anything into the fan because it may break the glass lightbulbs and he may get hurt, he may break the ceiling fan, etc. I ended our conversation by telling him that I loved him.

Ryan then said, "Mom, you need to say I forgive you." Ahhh . . . he really does listen in Primay. Hooray!!

This picture was the one taken in the hospital when he was first born. Even though he is
our 3rd child I guess he thinks he is Number 1! (December 2004 - Layton, UT)

Thank Heavens for an Artistic Brother!

This past Sunday we had a Primary Teacher Training Meeting. My brother Luke, who is crazy talented in the art department (which I am not) designed the cute artwork that is on these bags. We provided a bag for each teacher in primary. Our meeting turned out great thanks to April (Matt's sister) and Carolyn (Matt's mother) and my terrific presidency. Each of them provided a lot of ideas and helps! I couldn't have done it without you! Thanks ladies!! And a big huge "thank you" to Luke!
