After changing my background this evening I noticed that "My Favorite Bloggers" list didn't transfer over. Hmmmmm . . . that stinks BIG TIME!
So, if you are reading this and the list is still blank, that means it didn't magically appear overnight and that again, STINKS!
If you would be so kind to leave me a comment with your blog addy or if you'd rather email it to me privately by clicking on my sidebar . . . I would be SOOOO HAPPY!!

Pants on Fire!
So lately, as you MAY have noticed, I haven't been blogging regularly. Yes, I have things in my mind to blog about. And YES, I will get to them, eventually. Instead, I have been blog hopping, you know, reading other peoples blogs. And yes, I check out your blog list to see if I recognize anyone, start reading their posts, and so on. I actually have found many people from my different wards by "blog hopping". I love it.
Yesterday, as I was "hopping" along, I was reading a blog from a fellow St. Louisan. Her recent post really grabbed my attention. I haven't stopped thinking about it. It was so weird.
Since reading her post, I have wondered about if people I have been acquainted with would do that same thing? I surely hope not . . .
Here is her blog post.

A Day on the Range
Today Matt decided he wanted to spend his birthday money at the driving range. So we packed up the kiddos and drove to our favorite one in Frankfort, KY. This town is the capital of Kentucky and it only about 20 minutes from our home.
Here are some pictures from the day:

The only bad part of the day was the over abundance of BEES that were there. We had to be very careful to make sure Ethan didn't get stung. It all worked out. No bee stings for anyone. Hooray!

Last 1st Day of Preschool
Yesterday was Ryan's first day of Preschool. This will be his last year of Preschool since he will begin Kindergarten next year. He had a great day and really enjoying riding the school bus with his buddy Tyson.
Unfortunately he and Brinley aren't feeling real well today so he will be missing school today.
Here are pictures of the big day.

Future Artists?
The past few days, Ethan and Ashton have been working hard on their entries for the Kentucky Kids Day T-Shirt contest.
Each year any student can turn in a design that, if chosen, would be screen printed onto a t-shirt that will be distributed to each child at the school. Then on "Kentucky Kids Day" each child will wear the t-shirt. The kids also wear these t-shirts when they go on field trips.
We have never turned in an entry before this year. I decided that we are going to be active participants this year. I emphasized to the boys that "doing their best" is all that is important in this contest. I could care less if their design is chosen or not. However, the competative person in me REALLY is hoping for a winning design!!
When trying to come up with their design, I asked Ethan what Kentucky is known for. That is where he got the idea to put a horse on his design.
Ashton, on the other hand, is a rocker at heart. His design is a perfect description of his personality.
The voting begins today. May the best boy (or girl) win!!!
