Food Drive - 3rd and Final Phase

The final part of the Food Drive was taking the goods over to church, collect other peeps goods and then take all collections to The Amen House.  I will let you all know how many pounds of food was donated once I find out.  It was a lot - I know that for sure!!  Thanks to all that helped and all the donated!!

Food Drive - Phase II

Today was the big day for the Amen House Food Drive.  It was the day of PICK-UP!  We meet up with our friends at 11am and off we went.  We were fortunate this year to have 3 trucks to split up the duties.  It was great!

It's About Time!

Today the sun actually decided to pay us a visit.  Hooray!

Rainbow Brite!

Tonight was a night when I wished I had a super nice, hoity toity camera.  Ya see, when we walked out of K-Mart tonight the most gorgeous rainbow was right before our eyes.  It was the most vibrant rainbow I had ever seen.  AND, it was a full rainbow.  AND, a portion of it was a double rainbow.  The kids wanted to search for the pot of gold.  Matt and I didn't. 

The only bummer part was it switched from vibrant to kinda dull within about a minute after we first saw it.  Here are some pictures (and a short video) unfortunately after it had diminished a bit.
