Today we met up with a family from church at Ethan and Ashton's school playground. It is a great playground that has 3 different climbing structures, a basketball court, soccer field, swings, walking (bike riding) trail, a mini amphitheater, and most importantly a very nice covered (therefore shaded) picnic area that is right in the middle of the playground. I can sit in the shade and see my kids where ever they may be. The only problem we've had the last few times we've gone is this . . .
This horse sized Saint Bernard has paid us a visit the last 2 times we've been at the playground. She wanders around and freaks us ALL out. Here is a picture of Ethan and one of Brinley from a few days ago when the dog arrived. . .
Even though there is a wandering horse at the playground, we manage to have a TON of FUN.

Ashton is proving white men can jump! Looks like you are enjoying your summer!
What a fun time with the kids; they lock up the school yards here. I'd be right there standing next to Ethan on the picnic table when the "Big Dog" came sniffing around.
